If more proposals come in than a single track can hold, we open additional breakout rooms via OpenTalk rather than turning papers away or shortening every talk equally — the room count flexes, the format doesn’t.

Every accepted speaker is also asked to prepare one short, constructive response to another accepted paper. This keeps the program self-sustaining without a large standing review committee, and it means each paper receives careful engagement beyond the open floor — presenting and responding are treated as two halves of the same contribution.

Selection is based on relevance and quality, not on rank or seniority, and every submitter — accepted or not — receives a personal reply by the notification date, never a form letter. When the schedule is full, talks may run in parallel breakout rooms, or a session may include only one response instead of two; this reflects the day’s structure, not a judgment on the paper. We would rather open a second or third room than turn a good paper away.
